His diary from the time tells about the disappearance of a local carpenter. It was plain to see Lewis wasn't involved, but he did make it the subject of his poem "The Walrus and the Carpenter"! Many locals were suspected of doing the dirty deed and lots of rumours have come out of the woodwork since. Who saw what? Who went against the grain? DCI Sandy Paper has now decided to make this historical case a joint investigation as the evidence is a bit like a jigsaw.
